Deja Vu

I took a picture of Meg being her typical funny self.  As I scrolled through the pictures on my camera, something popped out at me- as if I had seen it before.
Then I remembered...

Meggie (15 months)

Amy (15 months)

Small pieces of happiness...

My dress for Fancy Pants day at school.  I bought this super fancy prom dress for $8 at DI.

Me and my silly girl.  Meg loves to dress up.

The worst month ever...

So, April 2013 will go down as the worst month of my life.  It is actually becoming quite comical just how bad it is getting.  I cannot say "well, it can't get any worse" any more because every time I say that, IT DOES!!!

The month started off with the loss of my dad.  This has been the worst part, by far.  I flew home to be with my mom and sisters.  I have never known a sadness like this.
I broke my right foot tripping while jogging.  Further proof that exercise is just not good for you, and should be avoided.  I spend my days hobbling around in an uncomfortable air cast/boot.
I was rear-ended on my way to work last week.
They found a pipe bomb at my school.  Yes.  Not just a threat.  Not a suspicious package.  They actually found a bomb.  We had to evacuate.  Bomb sniffing dogs snooped around our classrooms and cars.  News crews camped out all week.
I got a bad bronchial chest cold.
Both girls got food poisoning from school.

Okay- I'm getting tired and depressed just writing that.

Above all, I miss my dad.  I can't believe he is gone.
This makes me miss my mom and sisters.  Amy, Meg and I are spending three weeks in Alaska this summer.  July cannot get here fast enough.

Thank you to all of the friends and family who have sent thoughts, prayers, hugs, food, and more.
Your kindness and support mean more than you know.

Amy rockin' out with Daddy

Jeramie and Amy went grocery shopping today.  When they got back, Jerm said he had a funny video of Amy dancing.  As I was watching, my heart pinged- my first thought was how much dad was going to love seeing this.  I miss him so much.

Here is Amy dancing in the car to Pink Floyd.

Amy and Megan

Megan loves Amy's princess crown.  However, she puts her own spin on wearing it.
If you try to put it on her, she will shriek, take it off, and put it back on upside down.

We found these amazing mermaid pajamas at Costco a few weeks ago.  I asked Amy if she wanted new jammies, and she said Meg needed a pair too.  They love to dress alike. :)

Easter

I received the worst news of my life on Easter Sunday this year.  Prior to that phone call we were able to do the family things you do on Easter.
