The end of summer...

This was a very fast and crazy summer.  The girls and I were in Alaska for a month.  When we got back it was time for birthday's and another surgery on my arm.  Before we knew it, it was time to start getting ready for school.  Here are a few pictures from the end of our wonderful summer...

A new school year!

This year I did not start school alone.  Amy is coming with me.
Amy started kindergarten this year, and is loving every minute of it.  She is in Mrs. Funk's morning kindergarten class.  She comes to school with me each day.  We hang out, she gathers my copies from the printer, and says "hello" to everyone she sees.  I walk her to class before the bell rings, and love sneaking peaks and hugs when I can.
Amy is really good at doing her homework, and is learning a lot.  Her favorite things to do at school are sitting at her desk working, and playing with her friends.

Big Girls in the House!!!!

We have undergone a ton of BIG changes in the house in the past week and a half.  Big milestone kinds of stuff.  It has made this mommy tired physically and emotionally.

In the last week...
Meg officially grew out of all her 2T clothes.
She also informed me that she was "done with diapers."
We also sold Meg's crib, and bought her a big girl bed.

All of her baby decor came down, and she now has a Frozen movie poster and purple rug in her room.
Amy learned how to tie her new tennis shoes for school.

Amy is getting ready for her first day of kindergarten in a few days!
She even got a new big kid haircut.

So many changes.  If you are looking for a crib or diapers, don't come here. :)
