Yes, Meggie prefers to use a fork.  My kids are just awesome that way.

Garden- 2013

Amy and I are back for another season of gardening.  Jerm built us another box, so we have a little bit more room to grow...get it?  This year Amy and I are growing tomatoes, zucchini, a watermelon, and pumpkins.

Tomatoes (in the new box)

Watermelon (we planted the pumpkin the next night)

Ashley and Kelly- A picture by Amy

Amy drew a picture tonight.  She was so excited- she exclaimed "Mom, it's Aunt Ashley and Aunt Kelly, and the sun!!!"

Ashley is on the left.  Kelly is on the right.

I don't know about you, but I think she nailed it. :)

O'fish'ally blessed...

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week.  The PTA at our school had parents decorate our class bulletin boards.  I am so proud of mine.  The mom who wanted to do mine actually made the fish just for the board.  My students love it, and I am beyond humbled that someone would want to go to that much trouble for me.
I love my students, my families, and my job.

The best rental car EVER!!!!

Oh, how I loved my rental car.  I have always, always, always wanted to drive one of these bad boys.
I have to say- I am bullied in the mini-van.  It's sad, but true.  The other cars on the road totally laugh at my car.  But not in the Suburban.  Oh no, they got out of my way.  I got respect.  I affectionately referred to it as my Urban Assault Vehicle.  It was fully loaded with leather seats, and seat warmers.  I took full advantage of those these past two chilly mornings.

At first Amy didn't like it.  She cried all the way home our first day with it because it "wasn't shiny and silver."  It was black, and she only likes "pink, and purple, and shiny silver cars."

Sigh, I was so sad to let it go today.  I will miss that sweet ride. :)

Yes, I loved this car so much I had Jerm take my picture with it so that I can remember it forever.

Looking forward...

So, thankfully May is already off to a good start.  April was awful.
I took my rental car back today.  The rear bumper of the van had to be fixed because of the accident.  My beloved rental car will receive its own post because I loved it so much.
Anyways, here are a few pictures of my two favorite people in the whole world.  I decided to spin Meggie's seat around when I put the car seats back in the van.  Her face was priceless the whole way home.
I love them so much!
