Meggie

As you know, Meg was super sick on her birthday.  I had her 12 month well baby visit scheduled, and canceled it because she wasn't a well baby.  Combine that with ice storms, snow days, and freezing temperatures, she was actually 12.5 months old by the time I could actually get her back in to see her doctor for her official check-up.

I am not sure how many of you know this, but Meg is part Jamaican. :)

Meggie is absolutely thriving.  She is amazing, just like her big sister.

Meg has been walking since she was 10 months old.  She loves to dance, clap, blow kisses, and wave.  She can feed herself (all big person food now), and drinks milk out of her sippy cup like a champ.  Her favorite foods are carrots, chicken, apple sauce, yogurt, and crackers.  In true Chatfield child fashion, she is down to one nap a day (maybe two if she is up early).  She loves to play- especially with her big sisters toys, in her big sisters room.  She is also FULL OF ATTITUDE!!!  I don't know where my calm, reserved baby went?!?!? This girl is down right fiery and feisty.  When she is really upset she buries her head into the floor, and cries (it's actually pretty cute).

She is in bed by 7 at night, and up at 5 each morning.  On the weekends she will go back to bed until 7, but not a minute later.  She usually naps around noon, for about 1.5 to 2 hours.  She can say mama, dada, Betti,  and "all done".  She can also sign "more" while she is eating.  She can also nod and shake her head when you ask her questions.  She has been off the pacifier for about a month now.

Here are her 12 month stats (well, 12.5 month stats)...

Weight- 18.12 pounds (30%)
Height- 29.5 inches (54%)
Head Circumference- 45 centimeters (49%)
