Tonight, while Amy was coloring at the table, I handed her a marker and she replied "thank you very much" in her best good girl voice. She then proceeded to tell me that nice kids say "thank you very much" and "may I please be excused?" I told her that she was right; that those were nice things to say. Then she continued with my lesson in what to say and not...
"Mama, we don't say "Oh, damn it". "Oh, damn it" is not okay to say. Only mommies and daddies and big people can say "Oh damn it." Right, mom?"
Oh, the places conversations with a 3 and a half year old can go. :)
